What is testnet.help?

testnet.help is an open developer tool for working with blockchain testnets — without wallets, accounts or hype.

Why it exists

Getting started on a testnet is harder than it should be. Faucets go down. RPC endpoints change. Documentation is scattered across a dozen different sites. Every chain has its own explorer, its own tooling, its own quirks.

testnet.help aggregates the things you actually need in one place: faucet status, network configuration, developer guides and utilities — for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Solana, BNB Chain and more.

What you can do here

  • Faucets — live status of testnet faucets across all major chains, so you know which ones are actually working before you waste time.
  • Networks — RPC endpoints, explorers, bridge links and documentation for every supported testnet in one card.
  • Guides — practical how-tos for deploying smart contracts, debugging transactions and setting up your development environment.
  • Tools — unit converter, address inspector and RPC checker. No wallet required.
  • AI Explorer — ask about testnet addresses, transactions and faucets in plain language using your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini key. Nothing is stored on our servers.

Main feature

The AI Explorer uses a privacy-first architecture: your API key stays in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. Blockchain data lookups (balances, transactions) go through our server as a CORS-free proxy to public RPC endpoints — no keys, no logs of your queries.

Status

This is a proof of concept. Faucet status is manually curated, not automatically monitored yet. Uptime is not guaranteed. Do not depend on this for production workflows.

The goal is to evolve it into a fully automated aggregator with real-time faucet monitoring, an expanded AI layer and community-contributed content.
